In tunnels, high suction and pressure loads act on the electrical installation. It must therefore be ensured that the hollow bodies installed can withstand this load. Spelsberg Rapid Boxes have been specially developed for this purpose. The components installed directly in the tunnel in particular have to function reliably despite the high loads. For example, safety lighting that is individually secured so that the entire lighting system does not fail in the event of damage. Spelsberg junction boxes are made of a special thermosetting plastic to withstand the special environment in the tunnel. Maintenance-free clamps can be loaded with a rated current of max. 100 A.
