The Plettenberg-based ironmongery and metal goods factory Herbert Paul GmbH & Co. KG also uses, inter alia, our GTi switchgears. Founded in 1949, the specialists in stamping and forming technology carry out the manufacture of high-quality stamped, pressed, drawn, and bent parts for companies from the automotive, electrical, construction and fittings industry as well as aerospace. The precision tools required for operation are manufactured in-house and enable the production not only of prototypes and small series but also of components in runs amounting to millions of units.
For the development of a reliable small distribution board system within the company, the manufacturer turned to the locally-based Wiele Electro GmbH.
The electrical installation company, which was founded in 1987, operates in the commercial and municipal sectors and its core competencies include the repair and maintenance of machines, the installation of data networks and the installation and testing of electrical installations and parts.
In the case of this ironmongery and metal goods factory, the systems are intended to supply new control workstations and to provide the necessary power for air-conditioning of a computer room. This was the basis on which the electrical installation company conducted extensive project planning, which also allowed for sufficient reserves for future machines and relieved the pressure on existing distribution boards. Apart from the general industrial capability of the switchgear, Wiele Electro GmbH places great emphasis on straightforward expandability and flexibility of the systems.
Primary among these characteristics is the power of the ISO GTi switchgear from Spelsberg. The modular housing system allows rapid processing, easy inter-combination, and specific use of flanges and bulkheads. Compared to the normal variants on the market, the new systems take less time to construct and existing plant can be adapted without complications. For installers this means much less time, and for the customer cost optimisation and security of investment. Together with the Spelsberg team, the project managers from Wiele Electro GmbH developed a customer-specific range of necessary components. These were professionally mounted in the electrical installer's factory and then put into use in the industrial premises.
The long-standing trust in Spelsberg product solutions also paid off in this joint project. The cooperation was as usual rated as solution-oriented and uncomplicated, with at the same time the high-quality and functional switchgears guaranteeing a secure small distribution board system for the long-term.
